Ans 2: Since after indepth study i analyzed and observed that i should rather stick to the previous answer and found no subsiquent changes there after during the course of my study through this semester.

Ans 3: Considering the Gantt chart schedule of week 3 is in quite consolidation with the Gantt chart schedule i prepared and duly submitted as per due date of the assingnment submission.

Ans 4: Being course coordinater for the next term i would rather scrutinze the course contents and match them with available course matireals and try to find out what are the praticle examples which could bring out student skill in preparing assingnments for their proper understanding of the subject in lucid language and also appoint systematic and knowledgable lecturer/tutor who can probably guide students and help them in all aspects rather than just dictating out the lacture slides.

With the reference from the source of Wikipedia, it explain the importances of the agile softerware development in todys world. It is undertaking of the software develpment projects. Most of the methods minimize the risk by develping the software  iterations. Agile method most focus on comunnication like face to face communaication or over written documentation. And present very syncro written documentation compare to other methods . I agree with this the main reason behind that is it takes very little time produced.

Ans. During the course we have learn about the Logical Modeling. That includes Entity Relationship Diagram, Normalize form, Data Flow Diagram etc. An ERD shows relationship and cardinalities between Entities and usually expressed in third normal form. We have learned up to 3rd Normalize form of the entity and show primary key, foreign key and non-key attributes. DFD shows the flow of the process and includes Entities, Processes, Data store etc. 

Que. 2  Why do you think those concepts are important?

Ans. These concepts are very important for developing logical design. This logical data model is the important step and necessary to develop physical design.

Que. 3 What concepts from this course are still causing you the greatest problems?

Ans. Sometime this logical model is not used in the real-time business because of its limitations. Because of a rigid structure they have problems representing a variable number of Entities and general relations among these Entities. Business is also concern about some ethical issues that cannot discuss in logical model. It does not forecast or diagnose future problems.

Que. 4  How might the problems you are having be solved?

Ans. To overcome these limitations of the logical model various researchers have recently proposed logical extension of classical probabilistic model. It can be broader approach with the use of data mining concepts. But still no clear understanding of the relative advantages and limitations of different probabilistic-logical model techniques has yet emerged.

Ans:- It is a conceptual framework for undertaking sotware engineering projects. There are many agile software development methods. Many agile methods has less risk by developing software in short timeboxes. While in the traditional system development is efficient and reliable software system. The main similarities in both methodologies is, when they got results means output, they are same at that time. “Agile methods emphasize realtime communication, preferably face-to-face, over written documents.”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agile_software_development). Agile focus is on individuals and interactions berween people rather than on processes and tools.

As we look at difference then :- In the traditional method , it first fixed functionality and then it vary the time and resources while in agile method its totaly opposite. Agile software development processes have shown positive impacts on cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction. However, most implementations of agile processes have been in smaller-scale, software-only environments.

Ans1. We learnt many important concepts from this week such as , Entity relationship diagram , cardinality , normalization, relationship.

Que2. Why do you think those concepts are important?

Ans2.  Those all concepts are most useful for the system design. With the help of ERD system analyst design the whole system and he can get ideas that how system will work. And what problem we will face in future. So its a most important concepts.

Ans3. In this week one main concepts causing the greatest problems and it was ERD concept. Becasue in the ERD minor mistake lead to the greatest problem. Sometimes it cannot gives proper ideas or proper decision because of little mistake like cardinality or entity.

Que4. How might the problems you are having be solved?

Ans4. To solve those problems we have to refers and practice a lot to get better outputs. We should try first on trial base and then we should design a system. Books and professor will be the best way to solve problems.

MyCQUSIC: We can not access without login and password, in this link we can access only students details and staff members can get staff details. They can check their assignment details, time table and so on.

Webmail:  Webmail link is only used to check mail of students as well as staff member’s. We cant access any other things from this link but we can go to another link via other link, but this link can give only information of the webmail. So it can be easier for the end-user to understand and to access the site because of interface design.

e-rolment: From this link we can get information of the enrolment and results of the students. We cant check mail from this link we have to go back to webmail link. So its a nice and the best interface design that end-user can easily understand.

Ans: This week we were learnt about two most important concepts of data and processes modeling. Decomposition of DFDs and balancing DFDs. This week we also learnt to draw DFDs as well.

Q 2 : Why do you think those concepts are important ?

Ans : Decomposition of DFDs is one of the important concepts because after define the context diagram we can see there are four processes in any large system. This activity of converting single system to four component processes is called (Functional) decomposition. (Valacich, J George, J Hoffer, J 1999)

Balancing of DFDs is process when decomposition of process 1.0, which emerges in level-0 diagram, should have the same inputs and outputs to level-1 diagram. This conversation of inputs and outputs is balancing.

Q 3 : What are the data and process modeling concept that are still causing you the greatest problems ?

Ans : When thought of functional decomposition which an act of going from a single system to four component processes we still find many problems where the complicities exits in to several sub processes and their relationships as define under ERD and thus while defining ERD we find many problems, which otherwise were hidden while drawing DFDs.

Whereas the another condition for balancing DFDs where it is the prerequisites to have same inputs and outputs when decomposed into a level-1 diagram, which is a cumbersome process and quite tricky as it is not possible that one process’ output is another process’ input and vice versa. Thus it is logically unproven and illogical. Unless and otherwise they have been define properly when decomposed into a level-1 diagram. That is why this conservation of inputs and outputs is called balancing.

Q. 4 How might the problems you are having be solved?

Ans: As we have already viewed from textbook’s case study of Hoosier Burgers Ordering system in which processes 2.0 and 3.0 perform similar functions, in that they both use data input to update data stores. As updating data source is a singular logical function and that is why it cannot be decomposed any further. Whereas the solution remains with process 4.0 because at least it can produce management reports which further decomposes into three sub-processes like access good sold and inventory data etc. That is why it is important to identify such a process which can be further decomposed.

Considering the proper inputs and appropriate outputs it is possible to balance DFDs as there are several sub flows with composite data flow as input. And thus require similar output. So balancing should be appropriate.
